Sport with Team 8

Each week we are lucky enough to do sport with Room 8. 

Mrs Grant is the best and she shows us so many cool games and activities. 

This week we played rob the nest and we had so much fun.

The Buddhist Temple

Last Tuesday we went on a school trip to the Buddhist Temple. 
Room 9 learned about the 3G's and we got to do a few activities around the temple.

Last week Mrs Steel came in and awarded us a certificate for always working hard.

Our first Kapa Haka session!

On Friday afternoon we had our first Kapa Haka session. 

We sung some songs and learned how to say hello.

Road Safety

Last week we were lucky enough to have Constable Merv and Marianne come to teach us about road safety.

We learned that we need to stop, look and listen before we cross the road and sneaky driveways.
Here we are getting ready to go out and practice crossing the road safely.

Last week we were lucky enough to have Mrs Steel come in and read a book to us.

We all loved the story and would love to have her come back again soon!
